Of Angels and Demons

So as I was anticipating the arrival of Hyrule Historia in the mail i had the full intention of drawing Link in order to celebrate its arrival. Unfortunately or fourtunately it turned into this drawing.

I have a story somewhat developed for this picture and a name for the characters as well... But I'm unsure if they will make another appearance.

The boy

Richard Soilus is of noble demon who lost the love of his life the angel Eliza due to her soul being trapped in a blue flame by the King of Demons. In order to try to protect her Soilus tried to take on the king himself resulting in the loss of his arm and his memory. The only thing he has left to remember of his past with Eliza is the blue flame he has with him always.

The only way to bring back his lost memories is to restore the flame and turn it back into Eliza and destroy the demon king.

The story does focus on a heterosexual couple which is weird for me because all of the weird little stories I come up with have some sort of yaoi or shonnen ai in them >.>

The background and the hair shiney stuff was all done in GIMP and the rest of it was done by hand. The actual drawing without all the shiney stuff took maybe 6 hours in total the added on fancy stuff took like 20 minutes O.o

the coloring was done with neo-piko 2 and prisma color markers OwO
